For the most part, there are just not a lot of dogs that bite into believing that the medicine that you give them are treats and so the best resort is to dress their meds up looking like treats. One of the ways in which you can do this is to put their meds inside the food that you will be giving them such as wrapping their meds inside their ham, turkey, or cheese. If you have soft treats for your dog, you can also use them to place your pills inside. There are even dog treats that have been made to especially disguise pills placed inside them such as pet pill pockets.
